The Oliva family name dates back to 18th Century Europe, with a first generation of prominent traders of diamonds and gold throughout the region. Trading these precious metals and stones evolved into honing the art of fine jewelry-making. And it was not long before the Oliva name rose in prominence, eventually catching the eyes of the elite and assuming the prestigious role as court jewelers for the Royal Houses of Europe.
THE FAMILY'S FIFTH GENERATION
brought the business to the newly established country of Israel. Once rooted, Oliva grew to become the premiere jewelry and diamond manufacturer there. Then, another succession in the 1980s resulted in the sixth generation taking the helm with Ilan Oliva now overseeing all production and design.

As the Principal Designer of Oliva, Ilan is the mastermind behind the brand’s reputation for invisible settings, clean and precise lines, and innovative, opulent designs made of the highest quality materials.
HAVING SPENT FOUR YEARS in ITALY
learning how to manufacture jewelry by hand at the beginning of his career, Ilan returned to Israel to craft couture pieces himself, marrying his modern approach with Old World influence. Ilan’s technical understanding of jewelry is unparalleled, lending to the special and distinct intricacies of his designs. Ilan is recognized as a world leader in the fine jewelry industry, leading with integrity, honesty, and craftsmanship in all facets of his work.
